Fertilizer Methods of Analysis
Introduction: Official samples of commercial fertilizer and agricultural liming materials are collected and analyzed to ensure that they meet the standards set forth in the Florida Commercial Fertilizer Law, Chapter 576, Florida Statutes and Chapter 5E-1, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.). Chapter 5E-1.014, F.A.C., references the methods of analyses and states that all methods of analyses for fertilizers shall be those in the State of Florida, Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Fertilizer Manual. Copies of this manual may be obtained from the Division of Agricultural Environmental Services, Bureau of Feed, Seed and Fertilizer Laboratories, 3125 Conner Boulevard, Building 7, Tallahassee, FL 32399-1650.
